The Role
As a KS2 Supply Teacher, you will:
Deliver engaging and effective lessons across Key Stage 2.
Provide classroom cover in line with the school's teaching and learning expectations.
Follow existing lesson plans and adapt activities to meet pupils' needs.
Create a calm, positive and inclusive classroom environment.
Support pupils' academic, social and emotional development.
Maintain effective classroom management and positive behaviour.
Use creative and flexible teaching approaches to engage pupils.
Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, colleagues and senior leaders.
Make effective use of classroom technology, including Google Classroom and educational apps.
Adapt confidently to changing classroom requirements throughout the school day.
Requirements
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
Previous experience teaching in a UK primary school.
Experience teaching Key Stage 2 pupils.
Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
Ability to create a positive and nurturing learning environment.
Confidence using educational technology, including Google Classroom, or a willingness to learn.
Flexible, patient and adaptable approach to teaching.
Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
Commitment to safeguarding and promoting pupil wellbeing.
