Teaching Assistant – Secondary School, East London (E11)
Start: January 2026 | Hours: Mon–Fri, 8:15am – 4:00pm
Contract: Full-time, long-term (through to July 2026)
A welcoming secondary school in East London (E11) is seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join from January. You’ll support a variety of learners, including students with autism (ASD), complex needs, behavioural difficulties, and those in mainstream classes. Working alongside teaching staff and the SENCO, you’ll help maintain engagement, promote positive behaviour, and support students to achieve their potential.
We’re looking for someone who:
Has solid experience supporting young people with SEN
Is confident working with both SEND and mainstream learners
Can stay calm, adaptable, and proactive in challenging situations
Is reliable, committed, and ready to contribute to the school community
