Learning Support Assistant – Primary Schools (Stockport)

Location: Stockport, Greater Manchester
Start Date: September 2025 onwards
Pay: £85 – £100 per day (depending on experience + PAYE)

Are you passionate about supporting children with additional learning needs? We are currently seeking Learning Support Assistants (LSAs) to join welcoming primary schools across the Stockport area. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of young learners while developing your own skills in education.

The Role:

- As a Learning Support Assistant, you will:
- Support the progress of students with SEND through in-class learning support.
- Work across the curriculum, particularly with pupils who have additional learning needs.
- Provide pupils with the level and type of support specified by the class teacher or Learning Support Co-Ordinator.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with pupils, supporting their development as learners.
- Respond to pupils’ individual needs with patience, encouragement, and consistency.

About You:

You will:
- Have recent experience as a Learning Support Assistant (or similar role), or possess relevant
transferable life/work experience.
- Have experience of working with children or young people within a learning environment.
- Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Be committed, reliable, and enthusiastic about supporting students with additional needs.
