Learning Support Assistant – Secondary School
Location: Keynsham, BS31
Hours: 8:30am–3:30pm, Monday to Friday
Pay: £14.25 per hour
Working pattern: Full-time and part-time available

We are recruiting a Learning Support Assistant to join a school in the Keynsham area, supporting pupils to engage with lessons, develop confidence and achieve their potential.
This could be an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in education, care, youth work or support work.
What you'll do
• Provide classroom and 1:1 learning support
• Help pupils understand and complete tasks
• Support students with additional needs
• Encourage independence and confidence
• Build positive relationships with pupils
• Work alongside teachers and the wider support team
The school is looking for someone who
• Is patient, dependable and approachable
• Communicates well with young people
• Can encourage pupils without doing the work for them
• Is confident working as part of a team
• Has a genuine interest in helping young people succeed
Previous school experience is useful but not essential.
