• Pay: £90 – £100 per day (depending on experience and qualifications)
• Start Date: ASAP – Immediate opportunities available
• Contract Type: Full-time and part-time roles available, Long-term, short-term and day-to-day supply
The Role – Learning Support Assistant
• Support pupils on a 1:1 basis and in small groups
• Assist children with additional needs including SEN, SEMH, ASD, ADHD and learning difficulties
• Help implement Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs)
• Work closely with class teachers and SENCOs
• Promote positive behaviour and emotional regulation
• Support pupils’ academic and social development
• Create a safe, inclusive and engaging learning environment
This role is ideal for individuals who are patient, resilient, nurturing and committed to supporting young people to achieve their full potential.
Requirements:
• Experience working with children (school, care, youth work or similar)
• A passion for supporting children with additional needs
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
