Description
Location: Radstock | Full-time | £89 per day | Start: ASAP or September
Axcis Education is working in partnership with a further education college in Radstock to find a full-time Learning Support Worker to join their friendly and supportive team.
You’ll be working 1:1 with post-16 students who have learning disabilities—supporting them in the classroom, helping them stay engaged in their learning, and encouraging their confidence and independence. The role is all about building relationships and making a real difference in a young person’s life.
What matters most in this role is you. We’re looking for someone calm, patient, and caring—someone who genuinely wants to support young people with additional needs. You don’t need classroom experience or qualifications to apply—just the right attitude and motivation.
Here’s what you can expect:
Monday to Friday hours (8:30am – 4.30pm) – no evenings or weekends
£102.70 per day, paid weekly
Ongoing training and support – including lots of free courses via our Axcis Academy
A chance to make a real difference in your local community
Experience that looks great on any CV, especially if you’re thinking of working in education, social care or support roles
This is a full-time role, starting as soon as possible—but we’re also happy to hear from people who need to work to a notice period or start in September. After an initial settling-in period, the role has the potential to become permanent.
If you’re kind, reliable and ready for a role that’s both rewarding and meaningful, we’d love to hear from you.
Apply today and start your journey with Axcis Education.
