About the Role:

Working both in the classroom and in creative learning settings—including outdoor spaces and animal-assisted sessions—you’ll help deliver personalised learning programmes and promote positive behaviour and wellbeing.
Working under the guidance of a Learning Centre Manager and teaching staff, you’ll play a key role in creating a safe, supportive and stimulating environment for learning and growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support learning in literacy, numeracy, and cross-curricular activities in a variety of settings.
• Encourage emotional regulation, social interaction, and independence.
• Help implement and review personalised learning and behaviour plans.
• Maintain pupil records, log incidents, and contribute to reviews using school systems.
• Assist with resource preparation, behaviour support and the upkeep of safe, creative environments.
• Work closely with staff, families, and external professionals to ensure consistent, joined-up support.
• Uphold safeguarding responsibilities and promote the wellbeing of all pupils.
• Participate in planning, review meetings and training sessions as part of your ongoing development.

Who We’re Looking For:

• A compassionate and emotionally resilient person with a genuine interest in supporting vulnerable young people.
• Experience working with children or young people with additional needs (education or care settings).
• Excellent teamwork, communication and organisational skills.
• Confidence to work independently while following clear guidance and protocols.
• Minimum of five GCSEs (or equivalent) including English and Maths.
• A teaching assistant qualification or willingness to complete one is desirable.
• Strong IT skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Office and digital record-keeping.
• Willingness to work outdoors and alongside animals as part of the learning environment.
• A full driving licence and access to a vehicle is required (travel between sites may be necessary).

Why Join This Provision?

• Therapeutic Focus – Be part of a setting that values relationships, creativity, and holistic support
• Diverse Working Day – No two days are the same, with both classroom and experiential learning
• Professional Growth – Access to high-quality training and development opportunities
• Strong Team Culture – Join a skilled, passionate team committed to making a real impact
• Term-Time Working – 30.5 hours a week with regular, structured hours
• Weekly Pay – Earn £89 per day, paid weekly
