Level 2 Teaching Assistant (SEND)

Axcis Education is currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate level 2 teaching assistant to work in schools across Rochdale, supporting children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).

You will be working in a classroom environment supporting pupils with a range of SEND needs, helping them to access learning and achieve their full potential. The role will also involve personal care, so patience, empathy, and professionalism are essential.

Key Requirements:
• Level 2 teaching assistant qualification (or equivalent experience)
• Previous classroom experience working with children with SEND
• Personal care experience
• An enhanced child and adult DBS registered on the update service
• A caring, reliable, and proactive approach to supporting children
• Ability to work well as part of a team and follow school policies

Pay & Benefits:
• Pay: From £13.50 per hour (dependent on experience)
• Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:30am–3:30pm
• Contract: Agency, term-time only
• Ongoing support from a dedicated Axcis Education consultant
