Axcis Education is recruiting for a Level 3 qualified teaching assistant. The role is based in the Small Heath area, within the resource hub of a mainstream primary school. The school requires a teaching assistant with prior experience in working with individuals with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND). As the role will include lone working on a 1:1 or small group (2-3) basis the candidate is required to have a level 3 qualification in a relatable subject/sector.

Job details:
• Supporting pupils with varying SEND challenges
• Working on a one to one and small group basis
• Full time (8:30am – 3:30pm, Monday to Friday)
• Ongoing basis, starting ASAP, going through to July 2026 (potential to return in September 2026)

Requirements:
• Minimum Level 3 qualification in a relatable subject/sector - Essential
• Experience of working with pupils with SEND needs - Essential
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service required or we’re happy to carry out a new one ahead of you starting the position – Essential
• Minimum of 2 good references – Essential
