Role: Manager Designate

Overview:
A well established Electrical Wholesale business in Northampton are looking for a Manager Designate to join their branch, with the view to step into the Branch Manager position within the next 14 - 18 months (approx.)
This is your chance to learn the ropes from a very experienced manager and settle into the team / business, before taking over as Manager.
The role will not initially come with a company car, however upon promotion you will receive a company car and other benefits of a Branch Manager.
Package / Benefits:
• Negotiable salary DOE

Responsibilities:
• Work alongside the existing Branch Manager, developing relationships with existing customers and helping manage account
• Learn from the existing Manager about business plans, company policy and strategies
• Assist with managing and achieving branch budgets and targets
• Developing strategies for increasing existing business, new business and lapsed accounts
• Participating in proactive and reactive sales – both internally and externally based
• Assist in supporting and managing the team to meet operational standards
• Assessing market conditions and identifying new opportunities
Skills / Experience:
• Electrical Wholesale industry experience
• Responsible and able to motivate a team and lead by example
• Ability to communicate at all levels
• Driving Licence
