Our client is a private bank and wealth management company seeking to recruit a Manager, Trust Control.
Overall purpose of the role:
To support the Head of TCT in controlling processes within Group Trust.
Key responsibilities will include;
• Ensuring that the control function of Group Trust is operated in accordance with relevant regulations, codes, policies and best practice.
• Overseeing Financial Crime and/or Fiduciary Review Processes to ensure that periodic reviews are undertaken within specified deadlines.
• Training and developing team members in identifying any risk or compliance issues that arise as a result of the periodic reviews and to monitor these through to clearance.
• Re-evaluating the risk rating of customers under review and re-assigning the rating, if appropriate.
• Undertaking reviews, background checks and assessments on prospective customers ensuring that where appropriate, prospects are referred to Central Compliance, the Managing Director and Head of Group Trust.
The successful candidate will have:
• A minimum of 10 years' experience in Trust/Company administration.
• In-depth knowledge of Guernsey AML regulations, Trustee and Director responsibilities.
• STEP qualified or equivalent.
