Our client, a leading and progressive local telecommunications and digital services provider, is looking for a dynamic and tech-savvy professional to step into a hybrid role as a Mobile Device Management (MDM) Service Manager. The Role
In this blended role based within a prominent Guernsey retail environment , you will act as the primary operational owner for a major client's MDM contract. You will ensure that mobile devices, user requests, ticketing, and system deployments are handled securely, accurately, and within strict Service Level Agreements (SLAs).

When you aren't managing core contract operations, you will support the wider team with field-based activities, home-visit customer onboarding, and occasional shop-floor support during peak demand periods.

Key Responsibilities
• Contract & Service Ownership: Dedicate a minimum of three days per week to managing the day-to-day operational delivery of a key MDM contract, coordinating work, and resolving routine requests.
• Technical Administration: Perform routine MDM administration, device enrolment, profile configuration, compliance checks, and initial fault-finding.
• Field & Retail Assistance: Support door-to-door and home-visit initiatives by preparing customer information and assisting with service setups, device demonstrations, and onboarding.
• Traceable Record Keeping: Maintain meticulous records across ticketing, CRM, and asset-management platforms to ensure all tasks remain visible and auditable.
• Stakeholder Coordination: Communicate clearly and professionally with enterprise stakeholders, field colleagues, and specialized internal technical teams.

• Proven Experience: Previous experience in customer service or sales, ideally gained within telecoms, retail, technology, or field support.
• Service Management Skills: The ability to prioritize workloads, manage ticket queues, handle escalations, and deliver high-quality work under minimal supervision.
• Tech Literacy: A solid general understanding of mobile technology, with the natural drive and motivation to master MDM platforms and related security processes.
• Strong Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the confidence to manage relationships with both public sector and corporate stakeholders.
• Licence Requirement: A full, valid driving licence recognized in Guernsey is essential, alongside a willingness to attend customer premises when required.
