The Role
As a Senior Fund Administrator, you will manage the day-to-day operations and servicing of a key portfolio of strategic clients, focusing heavily on property, private equity, and alternative fund structures. Acting as a central anchor, you will ensure seamless service delivery while maintaining interactive relationships across internal accounting and corporate secretarial teams.
Key Responsibilities:
• Client & Asset Administration: Manage day-to-day operations for a dedicated portfolio of alternative fund structures, ensuring strict compliance with service level agreements and constitutive documentation.
• Financial & Cash Management: Review and calculate cash positions, optimize client investment income on surplus cash, reconcile bank accounts, and process fund transfers for investment purchases and distributions.
• Transaction & Fee Processing: Arrange approvals and timely payments for all invoices, fees, and expenses on behalf of the fund entities.
• Collaboration: Partner closely with the fund accounting team to ensure flawless, timely bookkeeping and transaction tracking.
• Governance & Secretarial Support: Liaise with the Corporate Secretarial team to organize Board meetings, draft ad hoc minutes, distribute board papers, and execute action points.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all entities operate within strict statutory, regulatory, and stock exchange listing obligations.
• System Optimization: Maintain investor data and registers to a meticulous standard while contributing to the continuous development of internal IT systems.

Requirements & Qualifications:
• Experience: Considerable experience within fund administration, specifically holding a strong practical knowledge of private equity, property, or alternative funds.
• Qualifications: Professionally qualified or actively studying towards a relevant professional qualification in fund administration or accounting.
• Technical Knowledge: Sound technical accounting knowledge and an understanding of offshore management, control, and good corporate governance.
• Key Skills: Excellent organizational, planning, and communication skills, with the ability to work on your own initiative as well as part of a structured team.
• Client Management: Professionalism and a proven track record of winning client respect and managing delivery expectations.
