The Role
On behalf of our client, we are looking for an enthusiastic internal finance professional who wants to build a rewarding career working across allocated jurisdictions of the trust group. This role involves managing day-to-day financial administration as well as contributing to monthly and quarterly internal financial reporting.
Key responsibilities include:
• Financial Administration: Assisting with general administrative duties within the finance department, including bookkeeping, cash management, and reconciliations.
• Internal Reporting: Working closely with Senior Finance Officers and Management to prepare monthly, quarterly, and year-end internal reporting and annual financial statements.
• Treasury & Cash Management: Assisting with debt collection, cash flow management, and spending analysis for allocated jurisdictions.
• Billing & Ledger Control: Ensuring all records of time and fee transactions are up to date, assisting with client billing, and ensuring expense invoices are posted to correct GL codes.
• System Accuracy: Managing data entry within the PlainSail timekeeping system, focusing heavily on accuracy, reporting layouts, and monthly formatting checks.

The ideal candidate will bring a proactive, self-sufficient approach to meeting deadlines and a strong commitment to accuracy.
Our client is seeking individuals with the following attributes:
• Technical Knowledge: A very good technical understanding of core finance and accounting principles.
• Qualifications: Fully qualified or actively working towards a relevant professional qualification (such as FIA, CAT, or ACCA) with up-to-date CPD requirements.
