Operating within a collaborative and progressive global framework, they are looking for an analytical Operations and Client Services Technician to join their Unit Linked Operations team. This is an exceptional opportunity for a finance professional to manage critical compliance and risk frameworks while driving operational efficiencies within a highly supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities
• Compliance & Due Diligence: Conduct robust Anti-Money Laundering (AML) reviews, Customer Risk Assessments (CRA), Customer Due Diligence (CDD), and Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD) for onboarding and servicing events.
• Risk & Quality Assurance: Monitor operational quality trends, log risks accurately using internal reporting tools, and provide constructive feedback to support continuous improvement across the team.
• Client Operations: Process client transaction requests, assist with surrender payments, manage weekly commission runs, and handle UK tax certificate queries in line with corporate service level agreements (SLAs).
• Stakeholder Engagement: Act as a key point of contact, communicating professionally with clients, financial intermediaries, and global internal teams via phone, email, and video calls.
• Process Improvement: Participate in change initiatives and system testing to streamline workflows and drive departmental efficiencies.
Person Specification
• Industry Experience: Proven professional background within the financial services sector, specifically backed by solid operational and client servicing knowledge.
• Regulatory Knowledge: A robust understanding of relevant regulatory controls, compliance standards, and local AML frameworks.
• Technical & Analytical Skills: Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word, with strong problem-solving abilities and an eye for assessing complex corporate structures.
• Traits: A proactive, self-motivated team player with excellent time management skills and the resilience to handle high volumes of work against tight deadlines.
