# Nursery Practitioner – CACHE Level 2 / Level 3 – Hemel Hempstead

## Key details
- **Location:** Hemel Hempstead
- **Hours:** Monday–Friday, between 8:00am–6:00pm
- **Opportunities:** Ad-hoc, flexible cover and long-term
- **Essential:** CACHE Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years/Nursery qualification, or a relevant higher qualification
- **Preferred:** Previous nursery or Early Years experience
## About the role
As a Nursery Practitioner, you will support young children within a safe, engaging and nurturing Early Years environment.
Your responsibilities may include:
- Supporting children through play and structured activities
- Helping with children's learning, communication and development
- Observing and supporting individual progress
- Assisting with mealtimes and personal care where required
- Creating a positive, safe and stimulating environment
- Working closely with other nursery practitioners and room leaders
- Following safeguarding and nursery procedures
## What we are looking for
You must hold a **CACHE Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years/Nursery qualification, or above**.
We are also looking for candidates who are:
- Confident working with young children
- Reliable and able to commit to agreed shifts
- Patient, caring and professional
- Comfortable working as part of a nursery team
- Able to travel reliably to Hemel Hempstead
Previous nursery experience is strongly preferred.
