Nursery Practitioner (Qualified & Unqualified) – Watford

We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established, highly regarded nursery in Watford that provides a warm, nurturing and inspiring environment for children from birth to five years old. The nursery is committed to creating engaging learning experiences where every child is encouraged to develop confidence, curiosity and independence through play-based learning. With a strong emphasis on inclusion, the setting supports children with a range of individual learning needs, ensuring every child receives the personalised care and encouragement they need to thrive.
We are looking for both Level 3 qualified Nursery Practitioners and unqualified Nursery Practitioners who have a genuine passion for working with young children. Successful candidates will work on a rota basis covering shifts between 7:00am and 6:00pm, Monday to Friday.
Key Responsibilities
Create a safe, stimulating and nurturing environment for children.
Support children's learning and development through play and planned activities.
Build positive relationships with children, parents and colleagues.
Observe, monitor and record children's progress.
Promote children's emotional wellbeing, independence and confidence.
Support children with a range of additional and individual learning needs where required.
Maintain high standards of safeguarding, health and safety, and hygiene at all times.
What We're Looking For
A caring, enthusiastic and reliable approach.
Level 3 Early Years qualification (desirable but not essential).
Unqualified candidates with relevant childcare experience or a genuine interest in early years are encouraged to apply.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
A commitment to providing outstanding care and education.
