Axcis Education are supporting a beautiful countryside nursery on the edge of Torquay, who are seeking a dedicated Preschool Room Leader to join their amazing team.

About the Role:

•The salary range for the position is £2.69-£15.50 p/h.
•The hours for the role are 8.15-17.15, with flexibility required on some days.
•The position is a full time position, with the option of working 4 or 5 days a week.
•The position is to start In November/December 2025.
•An opportunity to join a supportive team.
• Consecutive 'Outstanding Ofsted' Inspections.

Key Responsibilities Include:

•Leading and supporting your team to ensure high-quality care and education
•Overseeing the safeguarding of children
•Implementing and reviewing learning plans
•Providing strong leadership to promote positive relationships within the team
•Ensuring that all nursery policies and procedures are followed

About You:

•You will be responsible for managing and supporting the staff in the room
•Your leadership will help maintain a nurturing environment where children can thrive.
•You will have a minimum of 12 months experience as a nursery practitioner.
•You have experience working in a childcare setting with strong leadership skills.
•You must be able to drive or must be able to be dropped off.
•You have a passion for working with children and helping them to flourish.
