Nursery Assistant
Location: LS28
Pay: From £89 per day
Axcis Education is looking for experienced nursery assistants to join our team, supporting a range of nurseries across Leeds and surrounding areas on a flexible, day-to-day basis.
This is a great opportunity for someone who loves working with children aged 0–5 and has some experience supporting children with SEND (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities).
What We're Looking For:
• Experience working with children aged 0–5 (essential)
• Some experience supporting children with SEND (essential)
• A child-enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service – or willingness to apply for one through Axcis
• A genuine passion for early years education and child development
• Flexible, reliable, and proactive approach to work
Your Responsibilities Will Include:
• Assisting with the care and supervision of babies, toddlers, and preschoolers
• Supporting children’s learning and development through play and planned activities
• Creating a safe and nurturing environment
• Working collaboratively with permanent staff and other agency colleagues
• Following safeguarding, health & safety, and hygiene policies at all times
