Axcis Education are working with an alternative secondary school in Torbay, who are looking to appoint an outdoor education instructor from September 2025, or as sooner, if possible. This is a full time role, working 8:30-16:00. The annual salary will be reflective of experience and qualifications, but will be within the region of £25,000-£40,000.
The school is in on an exciting journey, developing their curriculum to give the children a variety of exciting learning opportunities. The school have recently joined a new trust, offering an engaging curriculum which is carefully planned and differentiated to develop thirsty learners. The school promote teacher creativity and wish to maximise the skills and expertise of each member of staff. You would be joining the team at a very exciting time.
In this role, you will be working closely with children who have complex needs. You will deliver high quality lessons, which inspire the children to engage with their learning. You will be well supported by a team of highly trained support staff, who have built fantastic relationships with the pupils.
