Axcis Education are working closely to support an independent specialist provision in Torbay, who are looking to appoint a Teaching Assistant to support students with complex Social, Emotional and Mental Health(SEMH) needs. Pay: £110-£145 a day
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8.45am – 4.30pm
Start date: ASAP or after Easter.
About the role
Working closely with class teachers and support staff, you will help pupils access their learning, build confidence and enjoy school life. Your day-to-day responsibilities may include supporting small groups and individual pupils with SEMH, assisting with classroom activities, promoting positive behaviour and contributing to a calm, nurturing learning environment.
