Job Title: Part-Time Learning Support Assistant – Life Skills & Complex Needs
Location: Bromley
Hours: 9:00am – 3:30pm, Wednesday to Friday (Term Time Only)
Start Date: September 2025
About the Role
We are looking for a compassionate and dedicated Learning Support Assistant to join a specialist SEND college in Bromley. You will support students with Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD), medical needs, Down’s Syndrome, and complex life skills development.
This part-time role (3 days a week) offers the chance to work in a rewarding environment supporting young adults to gain independence and personal growth.
Key Responsibilities
Provide 1:1 and small group support for students with complex needs.
Assist with life skills activities tailored to individual student goals.
Support medical and personal care needs in line with training and guidelines.
Encourage independence, communication, and social skills.
Work closely with teachers, therapists, and healthcare professionals.
The Ideal Candidate
Experience supporting students with PMLD, medical needs, or Down’s Syndrome.
Patience, empathy, and a positive approach to SEND support.
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
