Payroll & HR Administrator
Location: Watford
Full-Time - 5 days on site working
Salary: upto £32,000 per annum
Are you a detail-driven HR pro with a passion for payroll? Join our clients dynamic team and play a vital role in supporting a professional, efficient, and people-centred HR & Payroll function!
As the Payroll & HR Administrator, you'll ensure compliance and accuracy across the employee lifecycle - from onboarding to offboarding - while being the friendly first point of contact for all things payroll!
Payroll & Reporting
Be the go-to person for payroll queries
Manage payroll impacting changes (absence, maternity, etc.) with clarity and care
Maintain data accuracy in our HRIS system
Run reports, check breaks, holiday balances, and accruals with precision
Compliance
Ensure right-to-work documentation is compliant before start dates
Maintain accurate records of new starters and leavers
Handle offboarding tasks with professionalism
Employee Lifecycle Admin:
Process leavers and issue termination letters
Support onboarding, contract changes & promotions
Respond to reference requests and general queries
General HR Support:
Provide first-line advice to line managers
Assist with HR projects and process improvements
Help streamline and automate where possible!
Background:
Proven experience with monthly and 4-weekly payrolls
Strong attention to detail & top-tier accuracy
Organised, proactive, and able to juggle priorities
Confident communicator (written & verbal)
Trusted with sensitive info - discretion is key
CIPD Level 3 (or working towards it)
Advanced Excel skills
Team player with a positive, can-do attitude
