Description

A leading provider of bespoke private wealth, corporate administration, and yacht services is seeking a motivated Payroll Officer to join their Group Services team. With operations spanning multiple jurisdictions, this organisation is committed to fostering a collaborative and inclusive work culture that values each individual's contribution.

This role is open for candidates who are either based in Guernsey or Isle of Man.

This opportunity sits within the central services division, supporting the global network across HR, finance, compliance, facilities, and other internal functions.

Key Responsibilities
• Process payrolls for employees in multiple jurisdictions.
• Administer pensions and employee benefit insurance policies.
• Oversee leaver processes to ensure timely completion.
• Coordinate post-probation changes and support the preparation of salary reviews, bonus awards, and promotion letters.
• Respond to queries and manage holiday and absence data relevant to payroll.
• Maintain accurate HR records and data.
• Support employee recognition schemes and HR compliance activities.
• Work closely with HR Business Partners and Talent Acquisition teams to align with organisational goals.

Skills and Experience Required
• Demonstrable experience in payroll processing and/or employee benefits administration across jurisdictions.
• Generalist HR experience or equivalent transferable experience from work or education.
• Ideally holds, or is working toward, CIPD Level 3 or holds a degree in HR, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Highly organised with good problem-solving ability.
• Excellent attention to detail and proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel and Word).
• Team-oriented and confident working with colleagues at all levels.
