Temporary Youth Worker
Working Tuesday & Wednesday each week 9am to 4pm at two locations in Ipswich, this position will be for 2-3 months.
We are working with an amazing charity who are working with local school to help students to stay in school.
You will be working with 9 to 11 year olds providing interactive sessions away from normal school work which might include a morning session based around healthy eating, mental health and the importance of team work with the afternoon based around a sporting activity.
You will be training on existing formats and the groups are 8/9 people generally.
You will need experience of supporting young people with significant barriers, providing holistic support according to the individuals needs and a proven track record of
successful interventions.
Ability to work with a diverse range of children and young people including experience of engaging and supporting neuro-divergent young people.
Full UK driving licence and access to own vehicle.
