Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dedicated and enthusiastic Physical Education Teacher to join an established all-boys secondary school in Hounslow on a supply basis. This role offers a high level of flexibility, with both days and hours adaptable to suit individual circumstances, making it an excellent position for those seeking a work-life balance while continuing to make a real impact in education.

The successful candidate will be a qualified PE teacher with a genuine passion for inspiring young learners through sport, physical activity, and personal development. Prior experience in a similar environment would be highly advantageous, particularly within schools where teamwork, discipline, and resilience are key values.

As this position involves working with secondary-aged students, applicants must hold an enhanced DBS certificate (or be willing to apply for one prior to commencing the role). A professional yet approachable manner, combined with the ability to build rapport quickly with students, will be essential in ensuring engagement and positive behaviour across a wide range of sporting and physical activities.

The school prides itself on providing a supportive, structured environment where students are encouraged to excel both academically and physically. The incoming teacher will play a vital role in maintaining this ethos, delivering high-quality lessons, and acting as a positive role model within the wider school community.

Requirements:

Qualified PE Teacher (QTS required)

Enhanced DBS certificate (or willingness to obtain one)

Previous experience teaching PE, ideally in secondary schools

Strong communication, classroom management, and motivational skills

Flexibility and reliability to adapt to the needs of the school

This is a fantastic opportunity for a committed and energetic professional to join a thriving school setting and contribute to the personal and physical development of students.
