Job Title: Plumbing Maintenance Technician
Location: Camden, London
Salary: £36,000 - £37,000 per annum
Work Schedule:
Monday to Friday
Between 7am and 4pm (36 hours a week)
Position Overview:
We seek a skilled Plumbing Maintenance Technician for building repairs, maintenance, and replacements in Camden schools, children’s centers, and Council-owned properties. The ideal candidate ensures high-quality service, adhering to industry standards and regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
Execute repairs, maintenance, and installations with a plumbing bias.
Conduct reactive repairs and planned maintenance/statutory testing.
Perform tasks like TMV servicing, tap temperature monitoring, and sanitary ware replacement.
Utilize handheld technology for work management and documentation.
Ensure compliance with L8 legislation and maintenance/testing requirements.
Possess full DBS clearance and ideally experience in school/commercial environments.
Demonstrate excellent customer service skills.
Exercise adaptability and proactive problem-solving.
Hold a valid full driving license.
Qualifications and Experience:
Experience in plumbing maintenance, preferably in schools or commercial settings.
Familiarity with handheld technology.
Understanding of L8 legislation and associated requirements.
Strong problem-solving skills.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Hold a full DBS clearance and a clean criminal record.
Possession of a valid full driving license.
