Description
Axcis education are working with a PMLD school in the South Hams region, who require a full time, permanent EYFS Assistant from January on a full time basis. For this position, you must obtain a Level 2 or Level 3 EYFS qualification. The hours for the role are 8.50-3.20 and the rate of pay will very from £14-£16 p/h, depending on your qualifications and experience.
Requirements
•Level 2 or Level 3 EYFS qualification (essential)
•Experience working in Early Years or with children with PMLD (preferred)
•Proactive, positive attitude
•Ability to use initiative and contribute effectively to the team
•Enthusiasm for early years learning and play-based engagement
Role Responsibilities
•Engage and play with young children in Early Years settings
•Support learning and development through planned and spontaneous activities
•Contribute to a safe, inclusive and nurturing learning environment
•Work collaboratively with other staff members and follow school policies
•Provide tailored support to meet the needs of children with profound and multiple learning difficulties
