Description
We are looking for a primary Teaching Assistant for a role on the outskirts of Preston in a fantastic primary school.
The school we work with serves a dynamic and lively community and offers both challenges and incredible opportunities for growth. The school is based on the outskirts of Preston and the school cater for students aged 4 - 11, some of whom have additional learning needs.
In this role, you will work closely with class teachers to support pupils across a range of abilities, helping to deliver engaging and inclusive lessons. You will provide targeted support to individual children and small groups, particularly those who may need extra help to stay focused, manage their emotions, or access the curriculum. Your role will also include supporting behaviour management strategies, assisting with classroom routines, and helping to create a safe and positive learning environment.
We are looking for someone who is calm under pressure, adaptable, and passionate about improving outcomes for all children. Experience working with pupils with additional needs, including those with social, emotional, or behavioural difficulties, would be highly beneficial. Above all, we are looking for someone with empathy, patience, and a genuine desire to be a positive presence in a child’s daily life.
In return, we offer a supportive leadership team, ongoing professional development opportunities and your pay would be starting at £90 per day.
If you’re ready to take on a role that’s both challenging and incredibly rewarding, we would love to hear from you.
