Qualified Classroom Support Staff Required for Mainstream Primary School

We have a support staff vacancy for a teaching assistant with experience of working with individuals special educational needs and disabilities (SEND). This role is within a mainstream primary school in Handsworth. You will be timetabled to work with different children in different classes at different times. Due to the knowledge and expertise required for this role you will need to have a relatable level 3 qualification or above.

Job details:
• Supporting pupils with varying SEND
• Working on a one to one and small group basis
• Full time (8:30am – 4:30pm, Monday to Friday)
• Ongoing basis, starting ASAP, and going through to July 2025

Requirements:
• Minimum Level 3 qualification in a relatable subject/sector - Essential
• Experience of working with pupils with SEND needs - Essential
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service required or we’re happy to carry out a new one ahead of you starting the position – Essential
• Minimum of 2 good references – Essential
