Build Mobile Apps Used by Thousands
We're looking for a talented React Native Developer to join a growing development team, helping to create and enhance innovative mobile and web applications. This is an excellent opportunity for a developer who enjoys building high-quality products, working across both mobile and web platforms, and contributing to the full development lifecycle.
You'll play a key role in delivering features for React Native mobile applications, supporting releases to the App Store and Google Play, and collaborating closely with back-end developers and fellow engineers to create exceptional user experiences.
The Role
As a React Native Developer, you will:
Develop and maintain features within React Native (Expo) mobile applications.
Contribute to React and Next.js web applications.
Support the preparation and release of applications to both Apple App Store and Google Play.
Integrate front-end applications with REST APIs.
Investigate, troubleshoot and resolve bugs and application issues.
Write and maintain automated tests.
Participate in code reviews, sprint planning and effort estimation.
Assist in maintaining and upgrading frameworks, libraries and dependencies.
Work collaboratively within an agile development team.
What We're Looking For
Essential Skills & Experience
Minimum 2 years' commercial experience developing with React Native.
Proven experience working on applications released to both App Store and Google Play.
Strong experience using Expo.
Excellent JavaScript and modern React knowledge, including Hooks.
Working knowledge of TypeScript.
Experience with state management tools such as Redux.
Strong HTML, CSS and responsive web development skills.
Experience integrating and consuming REST APIs.
Proficient with Git and modern source control workflows.
A collaborative mindset with a willingness to learn, receive feedback and develop new skills.
Desirable Experience
Any of the following would be advantageous:
Next.js or other React-based web frameworks.
Tailwind CSS.
Expo Application Services (EAS Build).
Over-the-Air (OTA) updates.
Experience working with maps, location services, camera integrations or push notifications.
Testing frameworks such as Jest or Playwright.
Monitoring tools such as Sentry.
Exposure to PHP or Laravel.
Experience working within Agile teams using Jira.
Experience leveraging AI tools to improve development, testing and productivity.
