Residential Support Worker – Young Adults
Location: Stockport
Shifts: 7 days a week (7:30am–3:00pm / 2:30pm–10:00pm / split shifts)
DBS: Enhanced Child and Adult DBS Update Service (or willing to apply)
Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of young adults? We are looking for dedicated and compassionate Residential Support Workers to join our team in Stockport.
In this rewarding role, you will work one-to-one with our young adults, providing:
- Personal care and mobility support
- Help with daily routines and communication
- Development of independent living skills
- Assistance with learning and access to leisure activities
This is a shift-patterned role, covering mornings, afternoons, evenings, and split shifts across the week.
Please note: Challenging behaviours may be presented at times. Candidates must be prepared to work in a high-pressured environment, providing calm, consistent, and professional support to both young adults and staff.

- Experience in care, education, or support work is beneficial (but not essential – full training provided)
- A positive, patient, and resilient approach
- Commitment to improving outcomes for young adults
