Restoration Technician – Full-Time (Essex & London Area)
Are you practical, reliable, and ready for a hands-on role where no two days are the same? We’re seeking a Restoration Technician to carry out specialist cleaning and property works across a variety of sites.
Working Hours:
Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM (8-hour shifts)
Occasional overtime (paid at enhanced rate) and on-call responsibilities
Minimum age: 25+ due to insurance policy
We're looking for someone who:
Works well both independently and in a team
Has a strong work ethic and a ‘can-do’ attitude
Communicates clearly and professionally
Is physically fit and comfortable working in tight or awkward spaces
Is keen to learn and develop new practical skills
What You’ll Need:
Full, clean UK driving licence
Physically able to lift and carry materials
Comfortable using tablets/iPads for reporting and documentation
Good communication, literacy and numeracy skills
Some basic DIY or property maintenance knowledge is a bonus
Willingness to undergo a DBS (criminal background) check
Key Responsibilities:
Carrying out strip-out work, deep cleaning, and site preparation
Setting up and maintaining specialist equipment on location
Handling furniture and household items for cleaning and storage
Completing digital reports using mobile devices
Communicating with clients, contractors, and other professionals on-site
Following health & safety protocols including the use of PPE and risk assessments
Ensuring work vehicles are clean, stocked, and well-maintained
Attending regular training sessions, both in-house and external
