My client is an independently owned group that is a specialist provider of passive fire protection services, covering fire door manufacture, installation / remediation and fire stopping works.
They have some significant ambitions to be the leading provider of fire protection services across active and passive fire across the UK, and plan to double their revenue over the next 2 years through both growth and acquisition.
Due to this level of planned growth, they're looking to appoint a sales director to join their London office, to oversee sales activities for the group - this is a unique opportunity to join a company at the beginning of their growth curve and shape what the sales function will look like in the future.
To be considered for this role, you will need experience of sales in passive fire / fire doors.
You will own the entiure sales fucntion from clarifying opportunities, to the bid function, estimating, and closing of dealas. You will be managing the existing team - currently a bdm and 3 estimators, and you will be responsible for growing this team and shaping what this looks like.
You will be a self starter, and will not be micro-managed and will be expected to be able to secure major accounts / deliver new works yourself.
There is alot of opportunity for public sector works, so we are looking for candidates with experience of securing / tendering for pub sector works and the processes involved.
