Job Title: Sales Executive – Plumbing Products
Location: On-site – (Chelmsford)
Salary: £30,000 – £35,000 + Commission
Job Type: Permanent, Full-time (Monday to Friday, 9am–5pm)
An established and growing distributor of plumbing products is looking for an experienced Sales Executive to join their team on-site in Chelmsford. This is a great opportunity for someone with a solid sales background to take ownership of an active client base and help drive further growth.
The Role
Working closely with the company Director, you’ll manage and develop existing trade accounts, upselling a range of plumbing products to merchants and plumbing companies. With a large client database and many accounts yet to be fully utilised, there’s a significant opportunity to re-engage dormant customers and grow your sales pipeline.
Key responsibilities include:
Managing inbound enquiries and converting them into sales
Proactively reaching out to existing and inactive accounts
Upselling across a wide range of plumbing products
Delivering a positive and professional customer experience
Working within an effective CRM system to manage territories and client information
What We’re Looking For
Proven sales experience (phone-based, B2B, or trade preferred)
Confident, self-motivated, and resilient approach to work
Ability to work independently and take initiative
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-contact environment
No technical plumbing knowledge required – product training provided
