Science Teacher

Location: Preston (PR5)
Contract: Temporary, 8 – 12 weeks
Salary: £160 - £200 per day, depending on experience.

Here at Axcis Education, we are recruiting for a full-time science teacher to work in a mainstream secondary school in Preston (PR5), rated “Good” by Ofsted. The role will start in January and pay rates can be between £160 - £200 per day, depending on experience. This school is rated “Good” by Ofsted. Transport links are offered from Preston city centre and surrounding areas, and free parking is provided on site.

You will be required to deliver GCSE science to a range of students aged between 11-16. The role will start in January 2026 and candidates applying for this role must be available to work Monday – Friday.

The ideal candidate must have:
• Qualified Teacher Status
• An Enhanced DBS check on the update service (if you do not have this, we can guide you through the process)
