The Role
You will teach Secondary Maths across Key Stages 3 and 4, with a strong focus on Functional Skills and GCSE Maths. Working with small class sizes, you'll support students who may have struggled in mainstream education, helping them develop essential numeracy skills, confidence, and a positive attitude towards learning.
This role requires someone who can think creatively, adapt lessons to individual needs, and bring energy and personality into the classroom.
We're Looking For:
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
• Experience teaching Maths at Secondary level (KS3 and KS4)
• A strong understanding of Functional Skills and GCSE Maths
• Excellent behaviour management and relationship-building skills
• A patient, resilient, and flexible approach
• A good sense of humour and the ability to engage hard-to-reach learners
• A genuine commitment to improving outcomes for vulnerable young people
