The Role
As a Teacher, you will:
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons that meet the needs of all learners.
- Differentiate learning to support pupils with a range of abilities and additional needs.
- Teach whole classes across Primary, Secondary or SEND settings.
- Support pupils in whole-class, small-group and one-to-one environments.
- Help children achieve their full potential academically, socially and emotionally.
- Work collaboratively with school staff, parents and external professionals.

Requirements
To be considered, you must have:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) (essential for teaching roles).
- Experience teaching whole classes.
- A recognised UK teaching qualification or relevant teaching experience.
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one—we can help with the application).
- A passion for supporting children and young people, including those with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).
ECTs are encouraged to apply. We welcome applications from teachers at all stages of their careers and offer excellent opportunities to gain valuable classroom experience across a variety of schools.
Important Information
Teaching roles require Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). If you do not currently hold QTS, we also recruit for a wide range of Teaching Assistant, Learning Support Assistant and SEND Support Worker positions.
A driving licence is advantageous but not essential. We welcome applications from candidates who can reliably travel using public transport across Wigan and the surrounding areas.
