Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:15am – 4:00pm
Contract: Full-time | Long-term (through to July 2026)
A welcoming secondary school in East London (E11) is looking for a committed Teaching Assistant to join them from January. This role involves supporting a range of learners across the school, including pupils with autism (ASD), complex needs and behavioural difficulties, as well as students in mainstream classes. Working closely with teaching staff and the SENCO, you’ll play a key role in maintaining engagement, encouraging positive behaviour and helping students achieve their best.
The school is hoping to find someone who:
Has solid experience supporting young people with SEN
Feels confident working with both SEND and mainstream learners
Can remain calm, adaptable and proactive when challenges arise
Is reliable, dedicated and keen to contribute to the school community
