Secondary Teaching Assistant – Wood Green (N21)
Full-Time | Long-Term Role | Starting After Half Term
Hours: 8:20am – 3:30pm, Monday to Friday
Axcis Education is currently recruiting for a full-time Teaching Assistant to join a supportive secondary school in Wood Green (N21) from after the half term break.
This position involves working closely with students with Autism (ASD) and social, emotional and behavioural needs. You will provide classroom-based support as well as focused 1:1 and small-group interventions, helping students access learning, build confidence and manage behaviour positively.
You will collaborate with teachers and pastoral staff to implement tailored support strategies and contribute to a structured, inclusive learning environment.
We are looking for someone who:
Has previous experience supporting young people with Autism and/or behavioural needs
Can build positive, consistent relationships with secondary-aged students
Remains calm and resilient in challenging situations
Is committed to working full-time from after half term on a long-term basis
