Job Title: Secondary Teaching Assistants – Stockport & Tameside
Location: Schools across Stockport & Tameside
Start Date: ASAP or September 2025
Pay: £85 – £100 per day (dependent on experience)

Axcis Education is currently recruiting enthusiastic and dedicated Secondary Teaching Assistants to work in a variety of mainstream and SEND secondary schools across the Stockport and Tameside areas. Roles are available for immediate starts as well as from September 2025, with both short-term and long-term opportunities.

What we’re looking for:

- Experience working with secondary-aged students (11–16), either in school, tutoring, or youth/community work
- A genuine interest in education and supporting students with diverse needs
- Strong behaviour management and communication skills
- Flexibility, resilience, and a proactive approach to supporting learning
- Teaching Assistant qualifications are desirable but not essential
