Salary: £95 per day
Hours: 8:30 AM – 3:30 PM

Job Description:
We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Teaching Assistant to join our first school in Fordingbridge, Hampshire. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to contribute to the development of children in early years, playing a pivotal role in supporting their academic, motor, speech, social, and behavioral development.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the delivery of educational programmes designed by teachers to support children in their learning journey.
- Provide one-to-one or small group support to children, tailoring your approach to meet their individual needs.
- Help to create a safe, nurturing environment that encourages children to engage in learning activities.
- Monitor and record children's progress, providing feedback to the teacher to ensure that each child’s developmental needs are being met.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with children, staff, and parents.
- Assist with the preparation of teaching materials and learning environments.
- Support children with special educational needs, under the direction of the teacher, ensuring they have equal access to learning.
- Contribute to the management of classroom behavior, implementing agreed upon strategies to promote positive behavior and discipline.
- Participate in school activities and attend staff meetings as required.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by the supervising teacher.
Requirements:
- A genuine passion for working with children and contributing to their educational and personal development.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with children and adults alike.
- A patient, caring, and creative individual who is motivated and has a positive attitude towards learning.
- Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant or working with young children is advantageous.
- A commitment to ongoing professional development.
- Enhanced DBS check or willingness to gain one.
