Description
We are looking for an experienced 3.5t Driver to join our client's current driving team, to assist with the smooth running of the transport department. The role includes long & short-distance driving due to the areas covered, daily drops around South East & Greater London.
Duties:
? Timely pick-up and delivery of high-value shipments in line with company operating
procedures.
? Ensure all goods are safely secured and all related documentation is accurately maintained.
? Accurately update and maintain logs, ensuring all information is correctly recorded and
uploaded to the system.
? Ensure PODs are scanned promptly after each delivery, with all information accurately
uploaded.
? Loading and unloading shipments from the vehicle safely and efficiently.
? Ensure all quality control, safety and protection procedures are updated and adhered to.
? Consistently deliver excellent customer service and represent the company in a professional
manner.
? Conduct vehicle checks at the start and end of each day, and ensure that the allocated
vehicle is kept clean at all times.
? Attend shows and events as required.
? Coordinate with various security companies to facilitate specific deliveries and collections.
? Work accurately within strict guidelines and follow company procedures.
? Assist the Vault and Warehouse Manager is required to do so.
Essential Criteria Required
? Valid SIA licence.
? Valid full clean UK driving licence.
? No criminal convictions or driving bans – Subject to full DBS check.
? Excellent customer service and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively
both independently and as part of a team.
? Excellent timekeeping, along with strong communication and organisational skills.
? Flexibility to work outside regular hours, including weekends, may be required.
Mon - Fri plus overtime
22 days annual leave + bank holidays
Salary 32k+
