Description
Axcis Education are working closely to support a secondary trauma informed provision for students with complex social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) needs in Torbay. The school are looking for an SEMH Teaching Assistant on a full time, permanent basis, starting as soon as possible. The rate of pay will be between depending on previous experience and qualifications. The hours are 8.30-16.00.
Main Duties:
•To support students in the classroom and on a 1:1 basis.
•To deliver interventions on a 1;1 basis.
•To work collaboratively as part of a team.
• Interacting with students in the classroom and away from the classroom.

•Form strong relationships with pupils with SEMH and complex needs through trauma informed approaches.
