SEN Teaching Assistant – Primary | Waltham Cross (EN8)
Start: After October Half Term 2025
Schedule: Mon–Fri, 8:30am – 4:00pm (6.5 hrs paid)
Contract: Full-time | Long-term
Pay: £89 per day (PAYE)

A welcoming and inclusive primary school in Waltham Cross is seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant with strong experience supporting pupils with complex needs to join them after the October half term.

You’ll work with children with Autism (ASD), non-verbal communication needs, and behavioural or emotional challenges—both in class and 1:1. Your role will involve supporting learning, managing behaviour, and using tools like PECS or Makaton to aid communication.

Requirements:

-Proven experience supporting pupils with ASD, behaviour and emotional regulation needs

-Familiarity with alternative communication methods (PECS, Makaton)

-Consistent, calm approach to behaviour management

-Experience in a UK primary or Early Years setting is essential

-Reliable, patient, and able to commit full-time
