SEN Teaching Assistant – Primary School
Location: OL1
Axcis Education is seeking a caring, reliable, and motivated SEN Teaching Assistant to work in a welcoming and supportive primary school in the OL1 area. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a school that values staff wellbeing and provides a positive, friendly working environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Supporting primary school children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) on a 1:1 basis or in small groups
• Assisting the class teacher with lesson activities and classroom support
• Helping pupils with their academic, social, and emotional development
• Encouraging positive behaviour and engagement in learning
• Ensuring a safe, inclusive, and nurturing learning environment
Requirements:
• Experience working with children, ideally within an SEN setting
• Willingness to work hard with a positive and caring attitude
• Good punctuality and reliability
• Enhanced DBS certificate covering children and adults, or willingness to obtain one
• Ability to work well as part of a team and follow school policies
