SEND Classroom Support Assistant
Location: Bath, BA3
Hours: 8:30am–3:30pm, Monday to Friday
Pay: £14.25 per hour
Working pattern: Full-time and part-time available
Are you looking for a school-based role where every day is different?
We are recruiting SEND Classroom Support Assistants for primary schools across the BA3 area. You'll work alongside teachers to help pupils with additional needs access learning, develop independence and feel confident in school.
The role could involve supporting pupils with ASD, ADHD, speech and language needs, learning difficulties and social, emotional and behavioural needs.
Your day could involve
• Supporting children during lessons
• Working 1:1 or with small groups
• Helping pupils complete classroom activities
• Supporting communication and interaction
• Encouraging independence
• Helping with emotional regulation and behaviour
• Working closely with teaching and SEN staff
Who we're looking for
We're open to candidates from a range of backgrounds.
You could be an experienced TA or support worker, a recent graduate, a student, a sports coach or someone looking to move into education.
The most important qualities are patience, reliability, enthusiasm and a genuine interest in supporting children.
