About the Role
As a Primary Teaching Assistant, you'll work closely with teachers to provide high-quality support both in the classroom and during wider school activities. You'll help pupils engage with their learning, develop confidence, and achieve their individual goals in a nurturing and positive environment.
Your responsibilities will include:
• Supporting pupils on a 1:1 basis and in small groups.
• Assisting with classroom activities and lesson preparation.
• Encouraging positive behaviour and helping pupils stay engaged with learning.
• Providing additional support to children who need extra guidance.
• Promoting confidence, independence, and social development.
• Working collaboratively with teachers and support staff to create an inclusive learning environment.
