Hours: 9:00 AM – 3:30 PM | Start Date: September 2025

We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and experienced SEND Support Assistant to join a vibrant college setting in the BR2 area. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of young people with SEND needs.
Role Overview:
In this role, you will support post-16 students, helping them to develop skills in creative activities, gardening, cooking, and independent living. You will play a key part in promoting independence, confidence, and practical life skills, working closely with both students and staff to provide a supportive and engaging learning environment.
Requirements:
- Experience working with students with SEND is essential
- Background in supporting either secondary school or post-16 learners
- A passion for creativity, hands-on learning, and helping young people thrive
- Commitment to promoting independent living skills and student autonomy
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
