Axcis Education are seeking a dedicated SEND Teacher to support a Secondary SEMH provision in Torbay, starting after February Half Term, or from after Easter and continuing until the end of the summer term.
Location: Torbay
Start date: After Feb Half Term or Easter
Hours: 8.30-16.00
Duration: Until end of term
Role: SEND Teacher/Unqualified Teacher
Focus: Supporting secondary-aged students with SEMH needs
This welcoming and supportive school caters to students with SEMH needs who may struggle to thrive in a mainstream environment. The school places a strong focus on relational practice, supporting young people to develop vital communication, attitude, and social interaction skills. Your role will be to teach across the curriculum, delivering learning planned to KS2 level, with aspects of KS3 for some learners. You will be confident in delivering in English and/or Maths and will have experience teaching in a mainstream or SEND provision.
